To Bahia San Francisquito

North of Santa Rosalia there are no good anchorages for a while but due to the westerly winds we were able to stop at a rather unprotected stretch of coast with some steep sandstone cliffs:

We went ashore in the dighy a bit before sunset and walked along the narrow beach that was covered in small rounded stones in many colors and most of them with stripes:

We found a partial skeleton, probably of a ?? dolphin?:

More pretty stones:

There were also some shells but the sun was setting and it would be dark soon:

So we returned to Amanda at anchor:

Next morning we continued to Bahia San Francisquito, a large quite well protected bay. Here, we saw coyotes running along the beach and we went ashore to explore:

We did not see any coyotes but several paw prints were clearly visible in the sand:
